If I suspected my SSD, I would do a diskcheck. After that, if it was still glitchy, then I would tend to believe that the OS is damaged, not the SSD.

Before doing that, do a Diskcheck. I'm not suggesting that it will resolve all your problems, but it will guarantee that you don't do a fresh install on a corrupt hard drive.

Get new what? SSD? From what I'm told, the M4 is a very stable SSD, so I'd be more inclined to believe that the OS is corrupt, than to think that the SSD is toast.
