These are for Canon EOS mounts. The EF-S lenses only work with crop sensor cameras (like t3i, t4i). EF lenses work with both crop and full frame (ie 5d).

I only done a few macro's with the Sigma, but they are sharp. I say a youtube video awhile back and it showed the macro feature.

Yeah I only added the 70-300mm because it seemed like a good price. For me personally I don't think I can live w/o the IS, so I went with the 250.

55-250 is a good lense. I absolutely love my 55-250 and Sigma 30mm 1.4. But $150 for a 55-250 is nothing special. Ok, slightly warm, but not hot.
And stay away from the 75-300 indeed!
