I bought the Russian CD Key for BF3 a while back. Would I be able to convert it to the US version if I purchase the Premium Pack from this sale?

I completely agree with this. I have both and have tried hard to like BF3 but I still spend more time on BFBC2. If they came out today, knowing what I know about both, I would pay $60 for BFBC2...

Would totally do this if I didn't already own BF3 on PS3 and PC :(. I didn't have the premium but it would be nice. Right now I have the Russian Version of BF3 on PC from urlhasbeenblocked so I'm...

dangit, I got BF2 for 9.99 the other day. How does it compare to BF3? I heard BF3 is buggy.

Battlefield 2 is a great game. I would never buy it from Origin though. You can get a CD version with the manuals and everything for ~$8. Much better deal imo. ...

Sweet, I wanted to try this on the PC. I got it for xbox but I don't have premium. If you don't mind old games then you could start off with BF2. To me I'd rather play the newer game.

I've always wanted to get into these games. Should I save a few bucks and get BF2 to start off, or go straight for BF3?

+1 I've gone back to the console version. Not near as good, but it gets the job done.

Agreed. Typical EA. I loved BF2 and played BF3 for a few months. But did not care for the perk system or the buggy nature of the Origin client. EA really shot themselves in the foot when they...

I absolutely hated Origin when I was playing the beta. Has it improved at all since then?

Thanks for posting this. I've been waiting for the premium service to drop in price after the Battlefield 3 Gamersgate deal from a few weeks ago.

Psssh $30? I usually wait til it's below $10. If you do that for some of these multiplayer games though you're guaranteeing a dead population by the time you get the game.

That's funny, wasn't it the guy who runs Origin that was railing on Steam for running 75% off sales? Oh yes it was. Gotta love hypocrisy!

So when this is purchased on the Origin website, it's forever attached to your account? Wanted to pick up a copy for my brother as a gift.

Is the Vietnam expansion pack worth $5? I ask because sometimes I find the expansion packs for games don't really add a whole lot (and also seem a bit disjointed compared to the original release).

I think its a pretty good expansion and i paid about 10 few months ago. Definitely worth 5 bucks. I got a better value out of the expansion then i did out of bf3 for $15.

I'm debating purchasing the BF3 Premium DLC for $30 but is it worth it? Can anyone who currently plays the Premium stuff comment? Just trying to decide if the additional maps and gear are worth $30.
