I just paused ad block but that didn't fix it. And SD works fine on my desktop which uses Chrome and ad block.

This has been happening to me too, but also on other sites. Started in the last week with Firefox, all the sites seem to load fine in IE 8. Seems a lot of 'CDN sites' are constantly loading.
