Make sure you have an ATT SIM in and airplane mode is not on. I tried it 2-3x before I finally turned airplane mode off and it worked.

I got an email confirming that my iphone was unlocked this morning (I submitted a petition on Tues night). I did a update on itunes and it showed that my iphone was unlocked.

I got the confirmation email this morning and, after a phone restore, I'm unlocked. It worked! Now if only there was a way to do this for two phones with the same SIM card...

I never received an email either, but it was unlocked. You need to restore the phone using itunes for it to unlock.

I understand that from the email. It's a clean IMEID. What I'm not sure about is where it says to have your AT&T sim in the phone while unlocking it. I don't have a AT&T sim just a Straight Talk...

Do a factory restore to original THEN do a backup restore. when you start to do the backup restore, that is when you will see the Congratulations it's unlocked, statement.

I tried both DFU mode restore and restore mode restore... none of them worked.. when you say restore is it DFU mode restore or restore mode restore?
