^^^ This. No serious tent has such a tiny "rain fly". This is a horrible tent. You'd have to pay me a heck of a lot more than $23 to spend a rainy night in one out of doors.

If you really want to cheap out you may as well go buy a tarp (or multiple tarps) and learn how to pitch it correctly. Otherwise, wait until last years tents go on closeout. They'll cost a decent...

This is an incredibly cheap tent. So keep your expectations as such. The material and zippers won't be very good. But if you treat it with several coats of a waterproofing sealer, it should stay dry...
