I'm curious as to where the free HD cage would mount in this?? I hope not in the space behind the 5.25 bays. I would want to use those for DVD burners. Any ideas??

That's correct. You pop the three 5.25 bay covers off and turn the extra hard drive/fan cage on its side and it slides into place. I have six of these in my rack. Three with the 3 drive cages,...
