Maybe mine was bad? I dunno. I was getting 5mbps at work on the Lenovo and 30 on my Dell. At home, 6mbps on Lenovo and 38 on my Dell. Weird.

I went to look at that model you posted - it doesnt say anything about the Dual SLI set-up on it - just mentions a single 2GB GT650M. Are you sure that one has the Dual SLI setup? TIA.

Yup, ran a speedtest against both mine and my wife's computers and they all came in about the same. Her's was a bit slower but it was quite a bit older too. We have a pretty fast connection too....

My issues were really only when I was about 2 rooms away from the router before and it didn't matter what I was doing as I would constantly lose packets and be completely unable to download anything....

Bought it for $700, haven't seen it this low outside of ebay though so I would say go for it. Plus, you only get bluetooth if you buy from Lenovo, so there's an extra!

Or you could get the model that comes with a 16GB mSATA. Upgrade it to a larger capacity and install windows on that. Then, use the slow HDD as a storage drive.
