You're right. The only part I care about is that it registers through Steam. I always see these threads for Amazon or Greenman, and I always hope that they're selling Steam keys.

There actually aren't very many console games that run at 1080p natively. 95% of them run at 720p upscaled to 1080p so the 2560x1440 WQHD being 4x the size would be accurate..since it is Wide Quad HD.

yeah but if you get it from uplay u have to launch uplay to play it. If you get it through steam I don't think you need to have uplay installed...just a uplay account.

Even the steam version requires and opens through uplay, this has been clarified by many others. Save yourself the wait because the steam version has very few advantages.

With a high end pc you can significantly change the graphics settings, mod community is usually pretty active. I like the keyboard and mouse set up but that is more of a preference than a perk.

I think he means take the brand new copy you purchased from Amazon and return it with the Gamestop receipt, assuming that the UPC's are the same, this sould work fine.
