Check out ally 5 year CDs. You can do an early withdrawal and only lose 60 days of interest earned. It breaks even pretty quickly but run the numbers yourself.

If this money is intended to be for retirement, you should invest it in something with higher risk/reward. You could choose one of the Vanguard Target Retirement date funds for now.
