I have the 112 NAS. I got it b/c of the improved processor and performance over the 212. I use this as a media server for my ps3 and it works very well. I prefer the built in media server over Plex.

I go with Qnap instead if hardware encryption is not needed for home use. They have a MUCH better user friendly forum for everybody. But I use both.
