I don't think it will change it much at all. You are comparing 10" to 8", completely different sizes and classes again.

I bought an open box note 10.1 and I love it. The only problem I have is it does not support usb mass storage. It must use mtp, which slows data transferring to the tablet to a ridiculous speed.
