Not worth it...CPU isn't too important when gaming...invest the money in a better video card or SSD, either will yield significantly more noticeable results than a new processor.

I would agree with prozac about gpu and ssd. But for a budget build its not too bad. Also, don't think future proof, you'll prob want a new computer in a couple years anyways.

Since my motherboard doesn't support Crossfire and I got 2 ATI 4850's, I was thinking of upgrading the motherboard to take advantage of that. I don't think it would be worth it to buy another LGA...
