I have that waffle maker, and I have used it a bunch. It is a fine waffle maker, but I wouldn't say it's worth more than $30 full price. It is like a $20 waffle maker.

excellent deal then. I have some other Cuisinart hard anodized pans and love them, a few I've had for ~10(+?) years. you do have to properly take care of them of course, but they cook quite well...
