Probably no unless you don't want to spend even that much. Meaning, someone could get a $10 or $20 pair and they might be good enough for them and may sound very good and be the best headphones...

The Monoprice have nice reviews on HiFi.org. The only is the fit for long periods of listening. Overall, they sound good for the everyday price.
