Yep. Any lamp on, window open, any light is going to reflect a lot. His is in a basement with soft lights behind it. It does have a great picture but that's the trade-off.

Gdog has a point ..4 year old Plasmas/LCDs did not have as glossy finish as today's TVs. They had more matte finish. If you dont have ambient light control, buy a higher end with better glare...
