PassMark is a good general base but benchmarks don't mean a whole lot... I mean obviously a 650TI isn't better than either of them... but in generaly a 660Ti, 670, and 7950 are within like 10%...

Main problem about those performance charts is that they don't measure folding and folding is very floating point calculation heavy. So a stat to really be concerned with are FLOPS and at present...

the 7950 is 382-Bit, and i believe it is equal or better in all games that aren't sponsored by nVidia. this is just what I've read around here though.

Unless you do any folding, for example for Folding @ Stanford.edu then Nvidia cards usually mop the floor of AMD cards. No disrespect to Radeon cards, but I've found all around, for any purpose,...

seems like a good price but for this price range I think it's hard to argue against the 7950.

FLOPS & TFLOPS?? holy crap... I got some googling to do. this graph shows the GTX 660 Ti a hair ahead of the Radeon HD 7950, as far as performance and yet for a few bucks cheaper to boot:...

the original comparison that i posted was between a 7950 and a 660TI....not a 680, not a 7850. but just for arguments sake, the 7950 was $230 back in November, around half the price of the 680 at...

Looks like I'll have to wait until BF to SLI. I paid $224 with AC3 for mine back in December. I am not paying more than $175 for the second one.
