Don't. Get hardwood floors and area rugs. All these rugs have toxic chemicals in them.

How big of a room? You ever hear of Ollies? They have carpet remenats for about $100 bucks,,, you should be able to find a installer that will intall for $100 or so.... If you want high end...

Make sure to get good padding. Look at color depending on traffic areas.
