Thanks guys! I found this store partstore.com which was bought by Best Buy which made me feel a little better that I have a chance of getting a genuine Philips bulb... But then I read their reviews...

i had no issue finding a OEM lamp for my Mitsubishi, of course I did not check it when it arrived and it is the wrong size maybe if you provide the tv model or lamp part number someone can help :)

I don't know about genuine bulbs but I bought parts to fix my vizio TV from shopjimmy.com and their support was very good. Might be worth looking at if you haven't already
