When I did some benchmarking for work a few years ago memory was the only thing that made a difference in the real world but for gaming a video card will help your limit will be your power supply.

I put in 4 GB of ram and used a 512MB fanless video card...using the hdmi port

low power and gaming doesn't really mix....imho
I have more or less the same unit which I use as an HTPC..I'm not a gamer but with the power draw of the unit alone + the video card, it's enough...
