Correct, no VESA mount. I rarely touch my monitors so a plastic feel isn't that detrimental. Plus most monitors are made of plastic.

I don't have a problem with plastic (my 2311x's are very nice) I just hate it when companies try to fool consumers, by making it look like it's a different material by designing it like so. I mean...

I bought 2311xi at BB not so long ago for a buddy at work. I am very impressed, matte screen,excellent build quality for the price. Most likrly they have the same panel.

That's the 2311xi. I have three of the 2311x's that use the TN panels instead of iPS on the 2311xi, (but for what I paid for them, I'm not complaining).
I think the 23xi is too new to have been...
