How "alive" does the phone have to be to enroll? Friend has a drowned dumbphone that only stays on for a few minutes.

Just did this for my sister's phone. The value of the TEP is not good to me though. I prefer to have the EPRP (repair only) for $4. As long as you have your phone and it's not water damaged they fix...

The deductables on some of these devices is crazy! Galaxy note 2 - $200 deductable. Better to go with squaretrade if you can.

It covers liquid damage so the phone is covered even if its Dead. That is my understanding.
