Are the 360 controllers not bluetooth like ps3? Because you can use ps3 controllers with a $1 standard usb bt adapter.

it says its not official microsoft receiver, its a Chinese 3rd party device. but the reviews are mostly positive. I just don't like the seller writing "microsoft" on it I think i'll buy it anyway

Xbox controllers use 2.4Ghz wireless like a wireless mouse, not bluetooth unfortunately. So you're forced to buy this big, bulky receiver.
