thats probably because its a Samsung vs LG comparison not sure I have EVER seen an LG plasma look as good as a Samsung plasma of the same specs then again..the LG is always less expensive

If you have DirecTV, they call it DirecTV lite because they only broadcast in 720P. TW, Uverse, FIOS are all the same.....they are lite. Gamers may want 1080P b/c the Xbox/PS3 does display in 1080P....
