I actually initially booked and it was over $800 --- then a few weeks later I looked on a SUNDAY and it was $300 cheaper!!! needless to say I now have a $300 credit with SW!

I'm leaving Michigan around the same time. The Southwest $280 round trip is a good bet. I booked mine on Spirit a few weeks earlier for $220.

So far the cheapest I can find was Southwest at $280 RT. I can't honestly say if it'll get any cheaper than that because I'm not sure what the average ticket goes for from Detroit.
