I DID say in the original post that the link using the item number I found on the box will show bare tools on lowes website, even though the box on sale in store was the complete kit with batteries,...

I'm pretty sure the TOOLS have lifetime warranty, but the batteries have a 2-year warranty.

For some, even though it says bare tools, the specification says two batteries are included. Does anyone know if the flashlight is a bulb or LED?

Wasn't clear on the warranty brochure but you're right. I would have wanted the other way around, I.e. lifetime on battery and 2 on tool. I read that Rockwell has lifetime on batteries.
