No idea why you would sell your vita. The firmware updates will bring the older vitas in line with the new ones. It's just not worth it for someone to buy a vita now for $200+ when they can get a new...

I agree. Piracy has little to do with it. It's just more of Sony trying to push one of their proprietary formats so they can gouge the customer.

I seriously doubt a newer model. The price puts it right in line with the Japan price cut, I think Sony Stores are just jumping the gun for the North American price cut.

I don't know what you mean by "correcting" their proprietary memory cards other than perhaps lowering the price because I thought the whole point of them was to fight piracy.

They showed how it will work with PS4 very much like the tablet with WiiU so it seems worth owning if you're getting a PS4. Im going to hold off until June
