Can someone explain if this is good buy compared to neoTV which provides same functionality with Roku like abilities. Also does PTV3000 is $30 better over this because of miracast support ?

The big question is windows 8 compatible, I have the neotv max ntv300sl and it isn't win 8 compatible and still no firmware update to make it, sucks

PTV3000 seems to be very buggy right now regarding WiDi, even with the latest 2.2.9. Miracast support is available with the PTV2000 using the latest firmware.

You have to download the latest Intel Wireless Display software and then launch it. Once you connect to the PTV2000, it'll ask if you want to update the firmware to the device. Once you do, it should...
