I believe the speed drops down to sata II level when filled to 50%, only when it's at 80% it really slows down.

Risk for some, bargain for others. Quality wise Agility 4s are much better than older OCZ drives. I would hope that the refurbished are better too.

agree, used HDD gives a weird feeling. I couldn't do it even with the full warranty.
