Be careful with Total Defense Rebate. activation is required for rebate which means you need to install the junkie software and activate with a credit card

Are you sure you have to provide a credit card when activating? I did mine (antivirus) and it didn't ask for credit card. When I checked my account I see that I have 1-year subscription. Is it enough...

FWIW, I did install it on a virtual machine and used a rebate visa. Still, that's a lot of hoops to jump through for a mediocre product, especially when Norton and others are also often FAR.
