What like about external hard drives is how their value goes up the bigger the storage space. This deal is only 2x the cost of 1 TB externals, but 4x the storage space. Also to use these drives...
need drives for my new n54l....u think it's unwise to take these out of the case and use for that? they'd be on 24/7...what's a better option if not these? Costco sells this too...would be better to...

Not a bad deal but 4 of the Seagate 3TB external drives if you bought them on the $100/ea deal a couple weeks ago (I did) is cheaper per byte than 3 of the 4TB drives on this deal. ;)
