Newegg's warranty is 30 days, mfg warranty is 2 years. Mfg don't give a $#!t about the games.

Love how you are telling this to a guy who has owned both.

You are incorrect. A stock 670 is faster than a stock 7950. Only when Overclocked does a 7950 beat a 670.
Post #58422876 added 03-23-2013 4:55 PM by youra6 in Archived Deals
The 670 has been slightly faster than the 7950 overall, at least in my experience.

I've changed my password after they unlocked my account last Wednesday, so probably not.

A stock 7950 boost vs a stock 670 perform about the same, oc'ed it's a different story though.

A GTX 670 be default is clocked already high. There isn't much room to OC on a gtx cards. While amd 7950 are sold with low default clocks but can be OC'd. Both cards are good. IMO amd...

How does this compare to the 7950 PCs+ model? Ncix has it for around $287 but I can chop off another $20- by using a coupon. So is the 5-10 points worth paying $27 more for the PCs+? It also uses...

The Passmark benchmarks are usually off for new cards so you may be right (usually because the sample size is small and there are usually driver issues early on). Every generation, there's a...

For those in CA the sapphire deal from tiger direct after Mir for $280 might be a better deal. After tax the power color comes a bit closer to that price and you get a better cooler with the sapphire.
i keep considering it. at worst, you can single GPU mine to offset the costs of your GPU. right now a BTC is selling for ~$65 on mt.gox. yeah, ASICs are supposed to be out any day now, but BFL is...

Regarding cooling options for modern GPUs, remember the most important principle: "The Convection Coefficient is relative to Velocity, not Volume." Or if anyone fails to understand that, a simple...

I decided to get the Pcs version instead for $17-27 extra. The 5% performance increase and super quite(28 dba on idle) fan got to me.

Under 60? I dislike noise so I set my fan curve so that the card stays under 70 (but I don't force it under 70, my max temp is under 80) and minimize noise. From what I've read in the past, GPUs...

Decided to bite on this. Was originally going to get a 7870 2GB, but I waited around for a sale and this will do. Faster than a 660ti and cheaper too. I didn't like the looks of the cooler, like...

So sad Newegg suspended my account after i order this. I'm using the same CC and address as previous orders and my CC company did approve the transaction

I think cooling is often overblown unless the person is really cranking up the card or really hates potential noise, (and which is somewhat moot if you play games with headphones). One of those...

the 670 is a better card than the 7950 and 7970. Why did they suspend your account?

If you upgrade to a GTX 660 Ti, you'll probably get your money back in a year or two (electric bill) depending on how much you game. The GTX 480 is 100w more per hour than the 660 Ti. They should...

Almost all 7950 are same after overclocked, max with air cooling between 1100-1200 core clock & 1400-1600 memory. So pay more for stock speed is useless unless better stock cooler (likes Gigabyte...

Beta is beta. Didn't Nvidia recently release drivers that helped the top-end cards but ignored 660 and lower? Thought I read people complaining about that the other day.

Nice deal! Friend's kid just ordered 7870 for $205 after rebate. This is a better deal except he already has Crysis 3.

I think the (don't remember) 7950 boost at stock, is around 10-15% faster than the 7870xt. The distance gets wider when both are oc'ed, but the XT has excellent bang for the buck. Good deal op.

To put it in perspective, I sold my Tom Raider + Bioshock Infinite I got with my 7870 last week for $57 on ebay. Looks like this promo regularly sells for $45 to $50. Just go to ebay and search...

omg why is this so cheap.... almost makes me regret buying the 7870 Myst edition

Yeah I did not. I don't have the 7950 with me atm, so I can't test those recent drivers myself (though I should get a pair of msi ones soon). Doubt it. AMD continues to squeeze more and more...

The voucher is for both games. I say $50 on CL and $55 on ebay.
Post #58417792 added 03-23-2013 11:23 AM by norazi in Archived Deals
when you claim the voucher, AMD sends you 2 codes separately, one for each game... thus you can sell them individually i know this because i have this same bundle and sold both games seperately
