The rules will be adjusted accordingly, but as long as the thread has been moved to archive (and not just dormant for 180 days or more) it may be posted again.

I think the logic should be diff in the "deals" forums than it is in the "Support" forums, including podium, lounge, tech support. Those threads are referenced often and are often useful for more...
