What app permissions do you think you'd have to give to the Google Play Store if it didn't come pre-installed? lmao
The real problem with Amazon Underground is the devs don't update the apps on there. I have hundreds of premium Amazon apps I got for free in the past, and even simple things like Alarm Clock Xtreme are 2 years behind the version on Google Play... Sonic 2 is version 3.0.2 on Amazon and version 3.1.5 on Google Play. Sometimes these old apps just don't work properly with newer versions of Android.

That's kind of what I would imagine.. there's a ton of great apps/games that are free like Monument, cut the rope magic, hitman sniper.. I thought I'd share just in case other people who also had forgotten about Amazon's actually free apps..
Exactly. But don't get me wrong.
For all the great things I really like about Amazon, crappy Amazon Underground is definitely NOT one of them. Pretty disappointed that Amazon chose this invasive business model re: their Android app store.
I really miss the good old days when they offered their FAOTD (free app of the day) w/little to no involvement re: the mining of personal data.
But I do appreciate the heads up, OP.
