So this deal passes around every few months.
I just checked that their $40 off coupon TRT41 still works. Plus now they have a $20 rebate by gc when you buy 2 rotors and a set of brakes.

So at least for my car here's the breakdown.

Rears:
2 Car Quest Wearever Brake Rotors = $64
1 Set of Wearever Gold Ceramic Brake pads = $36
Sub Total = $100 + Tax
$100 - $40 coupon - $20 gc rebate = $40

Fronts:

2 Car Quest Wearever Brake Rotors= $94
1 Set of Wearever Gold Ceramic Brake pads= $41
Sub Total = $135
$135 - $40 - $20 = $75

You'll need 2 separate orders to complete this deal.
$115 + taxes isn't half bad. Add cheap fillers if you can't make it to $100

Coupon Code (You may need to create SpeedPerk Account): TRT41
OR 30% if your order is more than $135: TRT30

Also don't forget about cash back
+ extra $10 off if you haven't redeemed the Amex deal yet.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I have done this several times without the rebate BS....BUT if you don't need the parts today many times ebay is still cheaper and no tax. ...I even have a step brother that is a manager at an Advance store and ebay often beats his best price by a lot.

Just did my front brakes rotors, loaded calipers, ceramic pads, and both frt wheel bearing with speed sensors on my 2004 trailblazer via ebay.

2-rotors with Ceramic pads $52.57 shipped NOT each but for the pair with ceramic pads.
2- rebuilt front calipers with bracket and all hardware $112.40 then minus $35 core charge from that and the seller paid to ship them back.
2-front wheel bearings/hubs with sensor $52.94 shipped for both!

And then to top that off ebay had a 8% ebay bucks promo

Also if you find out this deal doesn't work let me know immediately so I don't get barraged by TD's

It makes sense in my head and I just placed my orders.

Whoops just realized the platinum rebate has passed. The gold rebate is still valid. I'll update the post. Not as good deal tho.

Looks alright.

Anyone have any experience with the Carquest warranty on the brake pads? I've always been confused about a lifetime warranty on something that inherently wears down.

Labor's the expensive part. If you aren't doing this yourself it's probably better to get a deal from a reputable car shop. Prob $200 labor for front and back.

Or if you know a guy that will do it on the side you might be able to get both for $100.

Yea if you are willing to trust no name Chinese brands then yea it'll be about the same price w/o the rebate hassle. They could end up being decent, but if they fail you have no one to sue lol.

Checking amazon, it's the same price for just the 2 rotors, no pads. That's just for my car though.

The lifetime warranty is lifetime of the product. Meaning the warranty ends when the brakes need to be changed again.

It pretty much only covers if the brake pads fail while there is still a lot of meat left on it. Or if the rotors warp after 10,000 mile etc.

This brand is complete junk. They lasted for 3 months with my 4g eclipse. O'reily's house brand was the only one that didn't warp or rust right away out of them.

Decent find. I wish their rebate was not a store gift card since you can't really use as many discounts when you use it and must use in store. Basically end up paying near full (over) price when you use it.

The Carquest parts are generally good. I've noticed that the dependable and established service places near me use them rotinely.

What shall be a typical labor cost for brake+rotor installation for Honda oddyssey ? Also, do I need to purchase other stuff like clamps etc or they included with pads ?
