So this deal passes around every few months.
I just checked that their $40 off coupon TRT41 still works. Plus now they have a $20 rebate by gc when you buy 2 rotors and a set of brakes.
So at least for my car here's the breakdown.
Rears:
2 Car Quest Wearever Brake Rotors = $64
1 Set of Wearever Gold Ceramic Brake pads = $36
Sub Total = $100 + Tax
$100 - $40 coupon - $20 gc rebate =
$40
Fronts:
2 Car Quest Wearever Brake Rotors= $94
1 Set of Wearever Gold Ceramic Brake pads= $41
Sub Total = $135
$135 - $40 - $20 =
$75
You'll need 2 separate orders to complete this deal.
$115 + taxes isn't half bad. Add cheap fillers if you can't make it to $100
Coupon Code (You may need to create SpeedPerk Account):
TRT41
OR 30% if your order is more than $135: TRT30

Also don't forget about cash back
+ extra $10 off if you haven't redeemed the Amex deal yet.

Just did my front brakes rotors, loaded calipers, ceramic pads, and both frt wheel bearing with speed sensors on my 2004 trailblazer via ebay.
2-rotors with Ceramic pads $52.57 shipped NOT each but for the pair with ceramic pads.
2- rebuilt front calipers with bracket and all hardware $112.40 then minus $35 core charge from that and the seller paid to ship them back.
2-front wheel bearings/hubs with sensor $52.94 shipped for both!
And then to top that off ebay had a 8% ebay bucks promo

Whoops just realized the platinum rebate has passed. The gold rebate is still valid. I'll update the post. Not as good deal tho.

Anyone have any experience with the Carquest warranty on the brake pads? I've always been confused about a lifetime warranty on something that inherently wears down.

Or if you know a guy that will do it on the side you might be able to get both for $100.

Checking amazon, it's the same price for just the 2 rotors, no pads. That's just for my car though.

It pretty much only covers if the brake pads fail while there is still a lot of meat left on it. Or if the rotors warp after 10,000 mile etc.
