Walmart has 50" Hisense 50H7C 4K UHD Smart LED HDTV on sale for $329. Shipping is free, otherwise you may select free store pickup where stock permits. Thanks bmoreorioles
I purchased the 65" last month and spoke with Hisense to verify. As long as it was purchased before 4/1/17 and was manufactured in 2016 it will carry the four year warranty but anything going forward will not.
it's ok. a little akward on the train, but once I figured out a complex series of pullies and ropes it stopped hurting my neck.
Not necessarily, from a sales perspective a 4-year warranty is a selling point to boost customer confidence in a product, often from less known brands (think about Kia's 10 year, 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty). If the product or brand performs well, at some point the manufacturer may not need to utilize the extended warranty to gain similar sales figures. By removing the extending warranty from future sales of the product the manufacturer achieves similar sales figures while reducing financial risk. What factors are at play with these TVs and HiSense I do not know, but it isn't as simple or necessarily negative for the withdrawl of the 4-year warranty to mean the products are inferior in any way.

Awesome tv, I believe 50H7C also had a planned release with HDR supported firmware.
viewing angle, sound are 2 things that you will like about this. Do keep the box incase you
want for warranty.
Nice! Just picked one up. Went to buy the 55" Samsung 6290 for $498 last night but they had no stock. Kind of glad I missed out cause this is better great deal!

That was the only reason I was looking at purchasing this Brand. Crap. Now just did a "Cancellation Request".
I'm looking for a 50 inch TV and will be using with Xbox 1 and a Firestick. Thanks!
Speakers/sound on Sceptre sets have been somewhat lacking. Even rattling because they're not firmly screwed down at the factory. Sceptre viewing angles are somewhat less than many other sets, too.

Also, isn't 1 year warranty standard? Plus most credit cards double - are new tvs that prone to failure?
