the economics of F1 are quite strange, and stranger things have happened. WRC basically lost of all its TV coverage over similar issues, and now you can find them three weeks last on Discovery HD theater in the US, but it was off the air for more than 4 years, as far as I know, and somewhere in the meantime, the series shrank considerably, there really are only about 7 top level WRC racers anymore, it's kinda sad.

EEK! been tired and lazy all day today. didn't do much aside from watch F1 qualifying and the gold cup final, and get dinner from the Mexican place on the street behind my place. headed to bed soon, supposed to play tennis at 9am Whee

A beautiful day here. Blue skies, flowers blooming, it's actually starting to look like summer here. My peonies which should have bloomed in mid April to early May are just now starting to open.

I played tennis at 9:30. it was 82, with a realfeel of 93, it was brutal. both of us were pretty wiped after only 45 minutes Faint so tiring, that humidity in that sun Ohmy

look around in dallas. Had dinner at uncle julio's, it was super fast, pretty good, although not spectacular.

Mixed up my schedule tomorrow, I have the morning free, and a meeting at one pm, so it'll be around four when I leave dallas

look around it's been a crazy busy day, oddly enough Whee

city council in Austin approved the agreement with F1 for the city to the local sponsor for race to get money from the major events trust fund. that was a major hurdle, and subject to much debate. one of my friends is completely pissed off about it, she started an argument on FB with me when I posted a news article about the vote.

Ohmy today has just flown by Faint left work at 11:30, went to a baby shower / luncheon thing for my friend, took leave for the afternoon. I don't have to be back at work until Wednesday next week Whee Woot wasn't really planned, not sure what I'm going to do Dontknow
