This limited time offer will be available to new and existing customers who purchase Galaxy S8 or S8+ phones on EIP. To qualify for this limited time offer, you'll need to activate at least one new line of service on a T-Mobile One or Simple Choice Unlimited plan.

Once you buy your phones, you'll need to submit the offer code 17SAM8BOGO on the T-Mobile Promotion Center website. So long as everything goes smoothly, you'll receive a rebate in the form of a $750 MasterCard card. Customers that buy Galaxy S8+ phones will also receive a $750 rebate, which is $100 less than the full price of the GS8+.

*** Please refrain from making offers to buy/sell/trade Netflix codes in this thread. It violates the rules. Moderators will close thread if it continues and you will receive warning/possible ban. Thanks. ***

According to Tmobile T&C the line only has to be in good standing when the $750 mastercard is processed. After that you can do whatever you want with the line.

"Rebate via Prepaid MasterCard® Card. Cards issued by Citibank, N.A. pursuant to a license from MasterCard International and managed by Citi Prepaid Services. Cards will not have cash access and can be used everywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted. Card terms and conditions apply. Must be active and in good standing when card is processed. Allow 8 weeks."

I called Samsung before I bought the S8 from Costco last weekend and the rep said the free VR and entertainment bundle promotions stack. On the Samsung promotions website, it said I was approved for both offers after I submitted my claims.

First time edit here, not sure about the VR, but for the "entertainmentkit" please check with me:

The link for info:
https://samsungpromotions.com/ent...ntkit.html

The rules apply:
https://promos.samsung.com/entert...tkit/Rules

For those not on ONE/SimpleChoice Unlimited plans, it may be worth it to you to get a new plan, even if only temporarily:

1. BOGO
2. Pay about 3 months of $100 for Unlimited.
3. Receive rebate, pay off one phone.

Option 1:
4. Pay off second phone
5. Cancel plan and return to your old plan.
6. Keep both phones plus 2x VR bundle for price of one + $300. Or basically, buy one get one more than half off.

Option 2:
4. Sell first phone
5. Pay off second phone
6. Cancel plan and return to your old plan.
7. Get one phone for $300 plus 2x VR bundle.

Option 3:
4. Unlimited is awesome and port your numbers Wink

↑ Math for the above:
4 lines x 3 months = $160 x 3 = $480
(4 S8's + tax) - (2 x $750 prepaid card)= (4 x 750 x 1.08 ) - ( 2 x 750) = $1740
Total = $2220 for 4 phones or $555/phone + free accessories and other stuffs

Why is T-Mobile kicking ass
This is really annoying. I have the same simple choice north america 10GB one. Missing all these good deals, iphone 7 trade in deals, this BOGO. Tmobile is so good at making its loyal customers mad. :-(
I just chatted with them and the Simple Choice North America 10GB does not qualify.

Does anyone know if samsung pay promo is valid for each s8 you register with or only one s8 promo per pay account?

When I got the free 2 lines on us deal, Tmobile rep said that you will loose the free line promotion only if you cancel any lines that you had on the account prior to the free lines promo. Any lines added after can be cancelled without losing the free line promo. Anyone else heard different?

Just to add to your point, I chatted with T-Mobile on Facebook just now and this is what they told me:

Quote :
Customers who cancel any lines on their account that were active as of February 27, 2017 will lose their promotional discount. Canceling lines that are not paid, like DIGITS or On Demand MI lines, will not impact the customer's eligibility. If the customer cancels the line(s) activated under this promotion, they will lose their promotional credit. They can resume the canceled line within 30 days and the promotional credit will resume. Customers will not receive any credits that were missed when the line(s) was canceled.
It seems that if the three lines activated during the "This one's on us!" promo (buy 2, get 1 free) are not cancelled, then any additional lines added and the additional lines cancelled will not penalize our account by losing the promotional discount. I then asked if my understanding is correct, I was affirmed by the chat representative.

Therefore, it looks like I will go for the Samsung S8 promo after bailing out on it thinking it would disqualify the free line promo. Do your own due diligence and get an official statement from T-Mobile in case you receive trouble down the road if they backtrack on their word, you have substance to indicate the opposite. I've done mine.

How does purchasing the phone in a no-tax state work? Will I have to pay taxes on it for the monthly payments or does it "register" as a no-tax item since you purchased it in a state with no tax?
Same applies the other way where what if you made your payments (at a T-Mobile store) in a state with no tax? Or does everything track back to your billing address?

#1: I would think it would be analogous to you going into a state with no sales tax, purchase something up front in full price and pay no tax. As for EIP, I'm not sure.
#2: If you're billed in a state with tax, then it doesn't matter if you're in another state that has no sales tax, you're going to have to pay state tax to where you're registered to in a state that charges tax.

If you want them to pay off your phone then they wont approve it if it is broken

Can someone please help. I purchased two s8's at Costco 14 days ago. Can I purchase one new S8 and get that one as my bogo. Would that count as my new line and then take back one of the other two I purchased earlier and close that line so I would have only two lines a new activated one and an old one? Thank you in advance.

I still do not think both VR and Entertainment Kit will be approved. One Samsung promo per Imeid. Even though Costco may file it, it is still a Samsung promo

Costco doesn't file it. You do on the website.

Do I have to pay taxes for both devices upfront or just one that's not free?
