I have been looking for this to go on sale recently with all the dewalt deals. If you don't want to get the acme tools deal on this and flip the battery it is pretty comparable. Plus 8% back in ebay bucks is cool too. Full factory warranty.

This is a good deal on this impact. I don't know why you got thumbs down. Maybe they confused it with a regular impact screw gun. This is a big and powerful impact. I have the hog ring version and it works well.

I got this impact wrench on Amazon with the charger and two batteries for the same price in December. Edit: Mine is a 3/8, sorry

Yeah, the 3/8 and the other Dcf88* are completely different guns. They are just gloriified nutdrivers.

This one is brushless high torque. It's a beast, will take off tractor trailer lugnuts.

In case anyone is interested in one of these, keep in mind it is a detent version, meaning you need some kind of tool to install and remove sockets. Not great for shop work where you will be changing sockets regularly. The quick change one is DCF899HB with the H designating hog ring. This detent one is designed for overhead work where you might be afraid of the attachment falling off and seriously hurting someone.

Yes, this is a beast at up to 700 lbft. 3 speed is nice, as full blast can sometimes be too much. Speed 2 is more like what the DCF889 can do at full blast... and speed 1 is nice for spinning the lugs before tightening.

Detent pin can be frustrating at times, but I just make sure I do not line up the hole and pin... the socket still stays on for most jobs.

For sure. Torque is up there with the high end pneumatic guns.

I have not problem doing 4 tire swaps on 3 cars with just a 2AH.

I've run mine with 2ah compact batteries. She's top heavy with that battery. The 3ah should be fine.

Adding a charger $25 and a good battery $50 will easily bring the total to $260 plus. At that price, the Milwaukee Fuel would be better. At least it comes with a decent box to store everything together.
