Having owned BOTH of these models, my impression is as follows:
Curved Model: 3D is incredible! the very very subtle curve is BEAUTIFUL
Flat Model: same beautiful tv without 3D and Curve
Performance wise: regardless of what you read on the forums, they perform EXACTLY the same (even though the Curve model does technically have a slightly more powerful SOC).
Either one you get is great -- it will come down to preference.

I have depth perception issues and I usually can't use 3D gimmicks and the C6's 3D works fine for me (though it is slightly subtle), but in exchange it does feel like something you can use for an extended period of time.
Great TV, great price, official instore retailer, and you'll instantly have your TV. All around good time to buy this TV (either).

Edit: When I tried to check out with the OLED55C6P in my cart at $1569, the price jumped back up to $1796 + $127 to ship. Flaky system.
