Great deal on a triple fan GTX 1080 Ti Card here. Been waiting for a while to see a non reference card with a good cooler drop in price.
This card will handle any game maxed at 1440p and most games at 4k with 40+ fps.

There are a fair number of reviews complaining of loud coil whine with this card. Sounds like it happens with some but not all. It's also a plastic shroud which may turn some people off. Great price though so may be worth a bit of a gamble.

im noticing alot of sales are for the gigabyte brand, there a reason for this or its just coincidence?

im read from others that gigabyte doesnt have the best cooler or specs compared to other brands

the cooler on the armor card that was on sale is pretty awful. this one is nice, my buddy bought it a month ago and its quite, good clock speed, and runs cool

I know Vega is coming etc, but honestly I don't believe it will beat Ti, or, if it will, it will cost about the same. Plus I have Gsync monitor anyway.

From the reviews I've read the clock speed and performance you get across all the 1080 TI cards is almost identical. The cooler may be a a little less efficient than others, whatever that is worth to you.

Great deal if you can dodge the tax and score the eBay bucks. If you don't have the 8% offer and have to pay tax it starts to get too close in price to the evga cards. I prefer evga because their cards are so overbuilt with backplates.

I was on the same boat, but realistically EVGA cards rarely go on sale, especially FTW series. I actually upgrading from EVGA 1070, which planning on selling for around $300 on craigslist

EVGA cards go on sale a LOT.
The best in recent memory was gtx 1080 FTW hybrid for like $535.

When 1080ti gets to ~$600-625 OTD for custom cooler builds, I'll be buying.

You HAVE to have really firm buy/no buy lines when it comes to video cards. There is ALWAYS a faster card around the corner. It takes a lot of discipline.
