This is a downgrade, in this area we all currently get 5 cents off swiping the card regardless of how little your previous visit was... now it requires 5 gallons on the previous visit in the future =(

3cents off program was like last year's program I think....

I've used fuel rewards for years and it's easy to save a few pennies. Shell gas in my area is always the lowest price anyway.

I think you will need to "prime the pump" first to get T-Mo Tues reward to stack.

According to the terms of the new program, gold members will receive a minimum 5¢/gallon discount benefit and earn earn 5¢/gallon rewards after every fill-up of 5 gallons or more. Member benefits don't stack, but rewards do.

It seems to me that the first fill-up beginning June 5th, everyone will have a non-stackable 5¢/gallon benefit available, so you would need to purchase at least five gallons to earn the 5¢/gallon reward. That reward should then be stackable with the 25¢/gallon T-Mo Tues reward for a 30¢/gallon discount on your next fill-up. But if you don't make that initial 5-gallon purchase, then you'll only get the 25¢/gallon discount when you enter the T-Mo Tues code.

ETA: Turns out I was wrong, and gladly so. The newly-golded accounts start out with a 5¢/gallon reward that stacks with the 25¢/gallon T-Mo Tues reward.

Already have $0.10 off from filling up with premium. So this combined with $0.25 TMo tomorrow means $0.40/gal savings!

Agreed. Except I'll be saving $0.60 per gallon since my Shell has $0.20 off premium gas on Tuesdays which also stacks!

I'm going to enjoy burning all of this gas after saving $12 tomorrow. Too bad it stops the discount at 20 gallons. Gotta find 7 additional gallons elsewhere.

I'll find out tomorrow when t-mobile send me the code. last time for some reason Shell put $0.25 + $0.05 already in my account and I ended up with $0.55 off a gallon. Good thing my hurricane kit has 4 5 gallon gas can's for use with the generator. They've been pushed into service the last few times t-mobile gifted the $0.25 discount. Just poured the last 5 gallons in my car last Friday from the last round.

Update: Currently at $0.10 discount. No idea where these come from but I am not complaining. Smilie

BTW: according to the Gold FAQ:
Q. Does my 5¢/gal reward for having Gold Status combine with other rewards I earn in the Fuel Rewards® program?
A. Yes, your 5¢/gal reward from Gold Status will stack with other rewards you've earned in the Fuel Rewards® program.

does it say this anywhere in specific?
Like at the actual fuel station or via app?
Those extra 20 cents would be great around my way but I've never seen a sign before

thanks

I guess there's still no way to stack this 5¢ with 10¢ Kroger fuel rewards, since the pump screen asks which you want to use. Also, I linked up my Fuel Rewards through IHG (Holiday Inn's program) and have been getting 3¢ extra, so was 6¢ off, and will hopefully now be 8¢. Kinda negates worrying about Kroger points now.

Damn, wish my local Shell had that kind of offer.
