I've been waiting all season, but the truvalue annual milorganite deal does not look like it is happening. I know that Fleet Farm has it cheaper but they are not in my area.

Menards has it on sale for less than $10/bag, which is certainly not smoking but reasonable. Can price match at Lowes/Home Depot.

was recently $8.97 at menards by me, price matched at lowes, and then used a 15 off 50 coupon, ended up getting it for around 6 something a bag.

Our local Menards has been selling Milorganite for $7.99 per bag for the last couple months.
I've been buying it at that price all spring. Was going back this weekend to get some more, so I'm bummed to see they have raised the price to almost $10 now.

you have to water it in thoroughly after applying. if you don't water it on, it will smell.

I'd recommend just cutting the grass before you put it down. Reason being you want it to have time to breakdown into the soil and not get sucked up into your mower if you bag it.
