Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thank you. And I thought this promotion did not allow referral :-)

I don't k ow what referrals sprint will or won't honor, just that SD gets cut out of the deal with referral links and that appears why SD disallows them.

You might need to set a 911 address
Can't get that far to enter 911 address.
Here's the "Enablement Error" message:
"We are unable to process your request at this time due to account level settings set by your account owner. Please contact your owner/manager for assistance".

Online support could figure out after about an hour chat.
In store rep gave up after 90 minutes.
Speculating this plan does not allow wi-fi calling.
I need this feature as the Sprint signal is quite poor at my place.
Thanks.

Online support has no clue how to help after an hour. In store rep gave up after 90 minutes trying different options with online support. Speculating that this byod "special" plan does not provide wifi-calling support. After all, it's free :-)

I ported from FreedomPop, I had an existing SIM, I called them to sign up and port...

However, when I checked my account online, I was enrolled in the Total Equipment Protection Plan for $13 / month.

Recommend everyone double check, if it is not something that you want to have.

Are there a lot of people getting the "We're sorry, we're unable to confirm your credit online." message?
I am. I really want to jump on this, but I've been getting this for days now.

Went to the store and they also said they can't do anything unless I have an account. I "have to get tmobile to unlock my Google pixel because they lock it" or something, while I'm on MintSim. These people.

You're going to have to call then, that is NOT going to change for you on its own. Get your current account num and PIN (verify them twice), then call the number they give. They'll start the activation, send you to the credit dept on the phone call, then back to the original CS to complete it.

Just double-check everything when you're done, they are bound to screw up something, (like the fact this is a FREE unlimited promo). That may be something to triple-check.

I find it difficult to believe that sprint is a real company with real customers and revenue. Been to two stores, called 7-8 times, been called 3 times, 10 or so emails, multiple voicemails, still no working number.

Thank you for your reply. I called Project Fi support and they dont seem to know anything about removing the device from Fi. I will try contacting Sprint next.
I would try using the help form at https://support.google.com/fi/contactflow?hl=en to e-mail Fi support rather than speaking on the phone with someone who is less likely to know what they are talking about. Personally I selected "Device (Phone Hardware)" as the issue type and perhaps that helped it get read by someone with more technical knowledge (who knew to forward it to a Fi specialist to resolve).

Wouldn't waste time and effort trying to deal with Sprint until at least giving that a try since it was a quick and easy fix for me. Trying to get Sprint to fix it seems much more of a hassle.

So What is the best trick to get a tmobile number (or any other eligible cell#)? Can I get a tmobile sim card and open a prepaid account (what is the cheapest way? do they still do pay per minute plan?)

My plan is to buy a tmobile sim card and sign up for prepaid.
-buy moto g4 play
-sign up for 1 yr promo
-swap to my sprint galaxy s7

Am I'm doing wrong or missing?

Thank you all in advance.

Can you activate a new Sim from Sprint store or do you have to order overnight sim? Can you add another number later for the deal?
