Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Now they got me tempted.

Any current Sprint users in Orange County, CA that can share their current experience with Sprint? LTE Speeds? Is there service in Disneyland etc?

I left Sprint 2.5 years ago for Verizon because their LTE Speeds were horrible.
I'll tell you what, nothing has changed, I know poeple who have sprint, hate themselves

I liked Ringplus's service a lot... but for whatever reason, the service I got on Tello was only slightly better than MintSIM (in my area, obviously)... and T-Mobile/MintSIM is garbage here for anything streaming.

If Sprint was better here, I'd probably go out to one of those 3 carrier stores, sign up, then switch to Sprint immediately... lol
You liked Ring Plus... but Sprint you don't? Ummm, Ring Plus was using the Sprint network, so couldn't have really been any better than Sprint.

Wonder why those people don't leave Sprint? I was ok with Sprint with their 4G, but once their LTE came out I was out.

I don't think it matters what kind of line, just a phone number from said provider.

All nexus phones are supposed to be compatible so there must be some fine print catches.

Here's the "fee" breakdown, so not quite free, but almost...
To take advantage of these great savings and have your phone work on the Sprint network, we'll send you a Sprint SIM card for each eligible phone.

Your next steps:

You'll set up your account and pay $2.99 per SIM card, plus taxes and $10 for overnight shipping
You'll also agree to automatically pay monthly taxes and fees (including a $1.99/mo./line admin fee)
On your bill, you will see a plan charge of $5/mo. and a -$5/mo. credit for AutoPay
We'll send the SIM(s), tell you how to activate it, and switch your number to Sprint
Activate your SIM and get 1 year FREE Unlimited talk, text and data on the Sprint Unlimited – Bring Your Own Phone plan
Quote :
Your $30 activation fee is waived as part of this promotion. The fee will appear on your first bill and a credit will appear within 2 bills.
So... you'll have to pay the $30, but get a $30 credit by the 2nd or 3rd bill... not a big deal because the credit will mostly be used up by the $1.99 administration fee and the other fees/taxes before the year is up.

You don't know much about throttling, do you? Anyway, Sprint seems to be doing pretty badly relative to other carriers. Who knows if their coverage has gotten worse because they don't have as many towers or something now

I was a Sprint customer for 6 years and left to go with Tmo prepaid for $30 deal. My phone at the time a gnex with hspa+ had faster speeds than my wife's S3 with LTE. Her speeds kept getting worse and worse. I will never go back to Sprint again, but this is a really good deal.
I have the $30 tmobile but 5 gig doesn't seem to be good enough now. 100 minutes of baseline talk I can handle.

I do and it still doesn't make sense. If anything, Sprint would throttle the data they were giving to Ringplus and therefore an actual sprint account would have better service than a Ringplus account. If you liked R+, I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't like Sprint even more cause it's the same network plus roaming which you may not have had on R+.

You have to pay tax and fees, about $10 per month.
