Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Oh man... Legere isn't going to be happy about this. Someone tweets him this promo!
Look for some big switch from Sprint promos about a year from now when this free service offering ends.

Just had a long chat and BYO SIM card is not eligible for this promo. Apparently they special SIM's for this promo. I was under the impression that all Sprint SIM's dependent on the phone manufacturer.
Example MOTO G4 SIM will not work in Samsung or LG Sprint Phone as most of who were with RP know.

Even though my MOTO G4 and ATT number is eligible - I have to purchase a new SIM if I want in on this promo.
It has been many months since Sprint comes out with the 3-in-1 universal SIM kit which many people got for free earlier these year.
This is cut/paste from Sprint Website:
" We have a 3 in 1 universal SIM card that is designed to fit any eligible device except for the open-market Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+. "

Don't take any bullshit from them I guess; if you have a SIM already that works on your phone with them ... what other reason you need??
Any they still insist to rip you off with buying a new SIM kit??

No thanks, Sprint. I'd rather pay for T-Mobile than get stuck with Sprint for free.

So, if I was going to pay for 1 month service then immediately switch for this promotion, which network would be cheapest?

I have a VZW iPhone 5s that is currently on VZW Prepaid. It says ineligible on the Sprint checker, but it's on the list of devices, so I'm hoping it's just because it's on Prepaid... so, I guess I just need to switch to a different network first...

I glanced at T-Mobile's plan page, and I'm only seeing the $70+tax option for 1 person.

AT&T cheapest plan seems to be $50.

For VZW, it LOOKS like for $30, you can get 500mb data & unlimited talk and text. Should be postpaid, don't see anything about prepaid. It asks for a "basic" device, but the IMEI of my iPhone 5s came back as working for it.

ok so if someone could confirm this before i switch
-1 time payment for SIM
-1 time payment for overnight shipping
-$30 activation fee which will be credited back
-around $5-$6 a month in taxes/other fees

and is there a charge for porting your number in
