for the luls i put in my current sprint phone lg g6, and got an error that the phone will not work on the sprint network... so no wonder im getting bad reception

nexus 5x with t-mobile post-paid number worked. Using same nexus 5x IMEI with pre-paid number won't work.

I asked a rep this, and according to her, the one year is effective til 7/31/18. So, it doesn't matter when you activate the sim, all free plans will end on 7/31/18.

I'm contemplating on switching back to Sprint b/c of this deal even though I left them in 2015 due to their lackluster service. However my current phone, Samsung Galaxy S5 doesn't show up on the list unfortunately, smh

FYI I can pretty much guarantee you will have an issue activating your phone. If you're on Fi, you will need to have Sprint submit a ClickIt Ticket to move your IMEI back to postpaid service from prepaid.
