Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I believe everyone is guessing
until we start receiving sims and activate no one knows.
Don't be surprised if you order sim activate and port something like pageplus when you get your first bill they will say this does not comply and you are charged full price

You're scaring me now. Are you saying those of us who switched over from pre-paid accounts might be billed the full amount even if we passed their eligibility check? That's gonna be A LOT of people in this thread.
Yes there may be a lot of angry people soon. Per terms must be ported from postpaid. If you do not follow terms then you may not get promotion. I say may but I wouldn't take the risk. Rather spend 10-15 bucks to port my prepaid numbers to postpaid to save 600+$ than try to save meager 15 bucks and get screwed.

Can't trust reps when they tell you soft pull when it's clearly a hard pill and then also tell you things that are against what the terms specify.

Careful all. Read terms and don't get screwed.

Worst part is if you ported in from prepaid already then you won't qualify for the promotion anymore even if you port in postpaid numbers because you will no longer be a new customer.

I tried eligibility check with my moto g4 and several numbers from google voice, h20, home phones, republic wireless and several more. i never had one fail as long as i used that phone.
I believe they will accept transfer from any number if you have the right phone.
You will be charged $30 activation fee and regular monthly fee.
Not buying until i have better understanding.
I don't want to be on Sprint at regular price plus activation.

Do you have to port in more than 1 number to get more than 1 line free?

After you sign up can you swap to a phone that isn't on the list?

Yes if you don't want to go through the trouble of transferring to postpaid first then I would wait till others can confirm but there may be no confirmation until the first bills arrive and by that time the promotion will be over.

It's really cheap to just get a postpaid account for 2 days then transfer to sprint. Don't know why everyone's trying to avoid doing it.

Sprint only knows phone numbers associated with their services right now. They won't know for sure who services the number you are providing (if it's not with them). They WILL know when you port over because you have to provide an account number and PIN number (along with billing address name etc) to port your numbers. They use the account numbers to contact your provider and get the approval for port. They can then use this information to determine your eligibility.

If people want to take the risk over 15 bucks it's their prerogative but seriously what's 15 bucks when you are going to save hundreds?
