until we start receiving sims and activate no one knows.
Don't be surprised if you order sim activate and port something like pageplus when you get your first bill they will say this does not comply and you are charged full price
Can't trust reps when they tell you soft pull when it's clearly a hard pill and then also tell you things that are against what the terms specify.
Careful all. Read terms and don't get screwed.
Worst part is if you ported in from prepaid already then you won't qualify for the promotion anymore even if you port in postpaid numbers because you will no longer be a new customer.

I believe they will accept transfer from any number if you have the right phone.
You will be charged $30 activation fee and regular monthly fee.
Not buying until i have better understanding.
I don't want to be on Sprint at regular price plus activation.

After you sign up can you swap to a phone that isn't on the list?

It's really cheap to just get a postpaid account for 2 days then transfer to sprint. Don't know why everyone's trying to avoid doing it.
Sprint only knows phone numbers associated with their services right now. They won't know for sure who services the number you are providing (if it's not with them). They WILL know when you port over because you have to provide an account number and PIN number (along with billing address name etc) to port your numbers. They use the account numbers to contact your provider and get the approval for port. They can then use this information to determine your eligibility.
If people want to take the risk over 15 bucks it's their prerogative but seriously what's 15 bucks when you are going to save hundreds?
