Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

4-5 bars signal strength. LTE speeds under 1 Mbps. Tried updating PRL, resetting carrier settings. They also sent some updates from their side. Still not getting any speed improvements.

That change apn part always worked for my Pixel with your same issues when I would switch carriers.

Was it confirmed? I just referred 5 friends and they are about to open this one year free account.

sprint allows referrals, slickdeals does not allow referrals... slickdeals tends to make money when people click through the links from slickdeals and someone referring over slickdeals tends to invalidate slickdeals making money o that click through.... in short, slickdeals wants the $ for you signing up rather than allowing you to refer someone.

I just added 2 more lines by calling. Ported 1 line from Freedompop and 1 line from RingTo. Still waiting for the transfer.

do you know if there is a way to still port into ring.to?

I have an account and have been porting out but I don't know of any way to port in.

But is the special edition the same as the Verizon unlocked version that is listed as eligible?
Not in Sprint's eyes. The Verizon S8 is ineligible as they've flagged that imei set as incompatible, despite all US S8's having the same hardware and band availability.

I don't know what their reasoning is - possibly one of the bands (HPUE) isn't active on the Verizon brandware. Flashing it to Sprint or just not having it and using the Verizon flash would be just fine. Getting the phone's imei whitelisted on their database seems near impossible.

I got my SIM yesterday a little hesitant to activate and give up my Verizon grandfathered UDP $89/month for this when I realized details of offer state:

"Data deprioritization during congestion"

Not after 23GB of usage like the T-Mobile deal. Wondering if Sims on this deal will be on slower speeds.

Ring.to has stopped port in. Only port out now.

Those who are trying to get a ClickIt ticket submitted... this is what worked for me:

Call (888) 226-7212 (probably international services customer service)
It asks for your phone number - just wait until it says press 1 for x, press 2 for y. Choose option 3 (not 2 or 4).
It connects to a human who can take your information and submit a ticket.
You get a confirmation number like SDxxxxx once a ticket is submitted.

Good luck!
Option 3 says "If you're outside the u.s. and exp problems." So we select option 3 even though we're in the u.s.?

Has anyone found out if you can add more lines later for free?
I was told you can. like all postpaid activations they run a credit report to see how many lines you can approved for. so if you activate 2 free lines and are eligible for 5 based on your credit, you can do 3 more before the end of the promo. you are just responsible for the roughly $10 per line

No. No more port ins, only outs. RingTo changed their business model ~1.5 years ago. Whoever's still on it can stay, but that's it.

no, it is for the referral $. SD usually makes money off your purchase through their link.

reddit has good referral threads for things, SD does not allow simply because $$$, as I understand it.

Also, has anyone seen a bill yet?I Know it says free, but it sounds like there are a lot of taxes and fees. Any idea how much it will wind up being monthly?
